Thanksgiving Fun and Freebies

With Thanksgiving just around the corner, I thought I’d share some ideas for Thanksgiving fun I’ve found around the web. Hopefully some, or all, will ease the stress that the next few days inevitably bring.

The beautiful image above is from my friend Kelly at live.laugh.rowe. She is incredibly talented and has lots of fun, fall craft ideas. There are three versions of this image available to download. They would make a perfect addition to any Thanksgiving decor…and provide a powerful reminder to stop and enjoy the holiday.

It’s always a good idea to keep little hands busy,  and here are some great ways to do just that. Little hands and big hands alike will love making this Turkey Bowl, and what a fun way to enjoy some pre-dinner snacks!

If you’ll be entertaining preschoolers, here’s a great site with a lot of fun craft ideas for those tiny fingers. For those wanting something a bit more educational, be sure to take a virtual tour of the First Thanksgiving!

For you more serious crafters, there are some fabulous ideas for decorating out there like these Paper Pinecones, or this beautiful Mantel Decor . Plus, there are a ton of free printables  (and more here!) to make your table and your meal look simply divine.

What’s not to love about Thanksgiving…food, family, friends, and so much fun! Whether you’re a stressed-out hostess or a laid-back houseguest, I hope you make the time to enjoy the company of those around you and reflect on your many blessings this Thanksgiving.

    1. I’m not hosting, so I don’t have to stress about any prep stuff. I just get to surf the internet and have fun! 😉 Hope you find them helpful!
