1,000 Gifts: Uncontainable Grace

As I try to develop a habit of daily recognizing and counting my gifts, may I take a moment to share some with you? (For more information on the Love Dare: check out Ann Voskamp’s {affiliate link} One Thousand Gifts: A Dare to Live Fully Right Where You Are.)

This act of naming grace moments, this list of God’s gifts, moves beyond the shopping list variety of prayer…It really is a dare to name all the ways God loves me. To move into His presence and listen to His love unending and know the grace uncontainable.

  1. Good reminders. Our lives are full of God’s grace. I have a granddaughter named Grace, and she gives me opportunities to both receive and give it. : )

  2. I am doing the Joy Dare. I should share some of the things I am grateful for. Great post idea. Glad you thought of it…. something to work on for this week. Wonderful things to be thankful for.

    1. Yes, Debbie, you should definitely post about the Joy Dare! For me, it’s great accountability! I’m so glad you stopped by!

  3. I love your list! When we focus on what we have to be thankful for we sure discover a lot more things, don’t we? When I was in my early 20’s I kept a grace notebook, I really need to do that again!

Thanks for linking up to the “Making Your Home Sing Monday” today! 🙂

  4. Such a great reminder! Thank you for sharing. Sometimes we are so busy in life we overlook all the blessing to be grateful for that surround us. 🙂 I need to do this over the summer with my kids. Great post!

  5. You’re right, it’s so important to remember these things. I used to read Ann Voskamp’s blog & was usually teary or at the very least enthralled by some of the simple things in life that she reminds us to be thankful for. Thank you for linking up with the Mommy-Brain Mixer this week.
